TRAUMA NOVELLE is… a sensory and performative experience formed in Vancouver, Canada, in 2020. Now based in New York’s East Village, Trauma Novelle blends cinema, music, theatre, fashion, and performance art into spectacular expressions of new dark electronica and symphonic emotion. Its two protagonists, ALAIN DIOR and N°5, work with an ongoing cast of collaborators to stage productions in venues with rich histories, resulting in upscale constructs that reflect the duo’s unique artistic vision.

Following their “Blue Glove Club” residency in New York City at the East Village mainstay Beauty Bar, TRAUMA NOVELLE continues its pursuit of groundbreaking projects in unique venues with SONATA DI SETTEMBRE.

This bespoke program, featuring original music and dramatic theatrical sequences, marks the grand opening of NONNA’S DINNER CABARET. Located at 1728 Commercial Drive, a site rich with dinner entertainment history, Nonna’s is poised to rejuvenate Vancouver’s beloved tradition of combining dining with performance for this special evening that promises an exhilarating blend of great Italian cuisine, incredible music, and performative art. A vibrant DJ set and dancing with Vancouver’s MR. PABLO will end the evening.
